For over eight
years now, Purple Images Productions has
applied innovative communication strategies
that motivate change and contributed to
rapid behavior changes among targeted audiences.
Our communication campaigns are guided by
the underlying philosophy that merely providing
education and information is not sufficient
to achieve behavioral changes.
Our
programmes provide an essential additional
element of communication activitiesthe
translation of information and education
into action oriented options through motivational
processes that reflect, in culturally relevant
terms, the needs, hope, values and traditions
of specific audience groups.
Through
research, social advertising, innovative
development communications, events management,
community capacity building and advocacy,
the organization has effectively implemented
multimedia strategies such as thematic communication
campaigns, music concerts, road shows, theatre,
audio-visual productions and other forms
of alternative and formal media to create
awareness and empowerment to influence attitudes
and behavior change in different social,
health and development problems facing our
targeted audiences.
The
organisation has technical capacity
for project design, monitoring and evaluation
with technical staff having a combined
40 years capacity and experience in project
design and management. Our staff provide
unmatched expertise and demonstrated ability
to work in a variety of cultural settings
with professional experience in communications
research, media strategy design, planning,
social mobilisation, message development,
materials development, traditional and non
- formal education communication, and communication
training.
Today,
the organization prides itself as being
a most dynamic and innovative development
communications agency in East and Central
Africa and is striving to provide quality
services to diverse clients in community
and media productions. The impact of our
projects has been felt among the United
Nations organizations, Non Governmental
Organizations, corporate sector, cultural
Centers and by community-based organizations.
The organization has been in the forefront
in creating awareness on topical issues
affecting the society and has had extensive
